Hiring conditions
The lease
begins at 08:30 a.m. or as agreed upon. The hired equipment has to be returned
the following day at 08:30 a.m. (depending on the leasing period). If the
leasing period ends on a Saturday or a Sunday, the delivery must be as agreed
upon. If you want to pick up equipment at other times than our opening hours
(08:30 - 16:30) it can be arranged, at additional costs. The equipment is
always to be returned in a cleaned and undamaged condition. We charge 600.- NOK
per hour to clean the equipment.
All equipment has been tested before dispatch, and all lacks and damages at the
returning, which is not covered by the insurance, will be invoiced the hirer.
We can not engage liability for damages caused by force majeure, defective
equipment or wrong use of hired equipment. We do not cover any kind of
"out-of-pocket"-expenses of lost earnings.
Conditions
The insurance covers any physical damage on or loss of the ensured items in
consequence of an accident. However, damage, loss or costs are not covered
under the following circumstances:
1. Damage as result of gross negligence or intentional acts.
2. Mechanical or electrical disturbances
3. Scratches (on lenses or monitors)
4. Wear and tear, gradual depreciation.
5. Unfit or insufficient maintenance.
6. Influence from the air and weather.
7. Loss and damage occurred under driving on an uneven road or at acceleration.
8. Damage as a consequence of the use of an unfit mean of transportation.
9. Seizure or other steps taken by governments or authorities.
10. Delay, indirect loss and the like.
11. War, rebellions and the like.
12. Unfit and insufficient packing.
Insurance
terms
All leases are added an insurance which at present is 5% for Scandinavia. For
the rest of the world an own rate applies and will be calculated for each case
seperately. Own risk deductable of NOK 10 000.- (NOK 25,000.- at simple theft)
per incident, will be charged the hirer.
Payment
If you are not a registered account customerwith us, the payment and a deposit
Euro 700,- must be in advance, at the latest while picking up the equipment. ID
and a custom & tax certificate of registry has to be shown to our staff. A
late charge of 1.5% per month will be assessed on all past due amounts.
Cancellation
At cancellation up to 72 hours before beginning of the lease, there is no fee
to be paid. From 72 hours up to 24 hours before beginning of the lease, there
must be paid a fee at 50% of the rental price. From 24 hours before beginning
of the lease, the full rentalprice must be paid.
Transportation
Transportation of the leased equipment is at hirer's expense. Days of
transportation are invoiced with 50% of the price per day (max. 2 days).
Certain EU-countries require Carnet. Carnet can be made at hirer's expense.
All prices are in NOK exclusive MVA
(VAT), freight etc.
